Prokaryotic transcriptome sequencing analysis is a transcriptomic study designed for prokaryotic microorganisms. Microorganisms will show differences in gene expression in specific habitats or periods in order to respond to environmental changes. After removing the ribosomal RNA, constructing a chain-specific library and other experimental steps, finally obtain the expression difference, structural information, and functional characteristics of all transcripts (including mRNA, non-coding RNA, etc.) in the microorganisms in a specific period or environment, so as to find out the key functional genes and solve more microbial function puzzles. This technology is mainly used to explore the molecular regulation mechanism of microorganisms in different periods, different phenotypes, and stress responses. Or used to improve microbial transcriptome information, such as transcript structure, new transcript prediction, non-coding RNA prediction, etc.

Sample requirements

  • Total sample requirement≥4μg, concentration≥100ng/μl
  • 1.8≤OD260/ 280≤2.2, OD260/230≥2.0, RIN≥6.5, 23S:16S≥1.0
  • Please put the sample in a 1.5ml tube, indicate the sample name, concentration and preparation time on the tube, and use parafilm to seal the tube mouth.
  • Before shipping, fix all sample tubes in 50ml centrifuge tubes with caps and ship them on dry ice.
