INTRODUCTIONS

Plant Reduced-Representation Genome Sequencing

Population genetics is a discipline that studies the genetic structure of a population and its changing laws. Its research objects are natural populations, generally different populations of a certain species (such as different species, different regions, etc.). The research of population genetics based on simplified genome sequencing is to develop a large number of SNP markers from the whole genome, and then carry out the genomics hotspot analysis content such as population genetic evolution, phylogeny, germplasm resource identification, Molecular marker development, DNA fingerprinting construction and so on. At present, plant reduced-representation genome sequencing technology (RRGS) has been widely used in population analysis. It is not limited by the genome, can reduce the complexity of the genome, has a low amount of data, is simple to operate, and saves costs. It is especially suitable for large sample size research.

Platform

Illumina HiSeq 2000

Sample requirements

  • Sample concentration≥25ng/μl, total amount≥2μg, OD260/280=1.8~2.0.

(The amount of DNA required is related to the number of libraries constructed and the type of library)

Project cycle

  • The entire project generally takes about 2 months, and the specific completion time depends on the size and complexity of the genome. The time is calculated from the time the sample is qualified, and does not include the time when the experiment is stalled due to sample problems.

Feedback to customers

  • Raw data
  • A project report includes experimental process, instrument parameters, analysis methods and results, etc.
