Plant Protein Quantitative Analysis Service Based on Isotope Labeling (iTRAQ / TMT)
INQUIRYIntroductions
iTRAQ and TMT are labeling and quantitative techniques in vitro, developed by AB Sciex and Thermo, respectively. They use 8 or 10 isotope tags to specifically label the amino acid groups of polypeptides to achieve relative quantification of proteins in 8 or 10 different samples at a time. They are a high-throughput screening technology commonly used in quantitative proteomics in recent years. Protein labeling quantitative technology has the advantages of mature technology, wide application, small system error, and low difficulty in experiment and data analysis. Therefore, it has been widely used in protein quantitative analysis. In the field of agricultural molecular breeding, it is mainly applied to protein expression changes in samples under different treatments / different physiological conditions, and protein regulatory network research and other directions, to assist breeders in the selection of high-protein crops.

Technical characteristics
- High throughput, not limited by the number of samples
- Accurate quantification and high repeatability
- Wide range of protein detection
It can simultaneously satisfy the identification and quantification of protein in 8 samples (iTRAQ) or 10 samples (TMT) at a time. If the number of samples exceeds, we can set internal parameters to form a bridge to achieve multiple detection, so it is not limited by the number of samples.
Different samples are mixed after labeling, and then tested after unified processing, which improves the accuracy and repeatability of quantification.
No species-specific restrictions, theoretically applicable to all species.
