INQUIRYINTRODUCTIONS
Pan-genome analysis can be performed regardless of whether there is a reference genome. Compared with a single genome de novo, the research of pan-genome is more comprehensive and in-depth. Pan-genome sequencing is the low/high-depth sequencing, assembly and annotation of multiple species. By constructing a pan-genome map, all genes of this species can be obtained. At the same time, it can also compare and analyze multiple varieties, and dig out the unique genes and mutation sites of the variety. These mutation sites and unique genes are often related to the unique biological functions of the species. The pan-genome is sequenced at a higher level for different but interrelated individual materials and assembled separately to construct a pan-genome map in order to obtain complete genetic information of the species.
