Our breeding platform
- Hybrid breeding. Hybrid breeding is one of the most effective ways to breed Bougainvillea. The hybrid brilliant red Bougainvillea is a cross between b. glabra and b. peruviana. The bright trillium is a cross between glossy-leaved b. glabra and red Bougainvillea.
- Bud mutation. We provide Bougainvillea bud mutation by selecting buds or branches of the variant from plants with excellent bud variation, using asexual propagation methods to perpetuate and fix the variant traits, and then selecting, observing, and identifying superior lines to breed new Bougainvillea varieties after the procedures of primary, secondary, and final selection.
- Tissue culture.
