INQUIRYIntroductions
Reduced Representation Bisulfite Sequencing (RRBS) is an accurate, efficient and economical method for DNA methylation research. This technology enriches the promoter and CpG island regions by restriction enzymes, and then performs Bisulfite sequencing, which can simultaneously achieve high-resolution detection of DNA methylation status and high utilization of sequencing data. DNA methylation research has always been a hot spot in disease research, breeding research and development research, and it is closely related to gene expression and phenotypic traits. As a cost-effective method for methylation research, RRBS has broad application prospects in the study of large-scale plant breeding samples. RRBS can be used to realize the comparative genomic analysis of multiple samples.
