CLIP seq in Plant

CLIP-seq (crosslinking-immunprecipitation and high-throughput sequencing) is a high-throughput study of the binding mode of RNA Binding protein (RNA Binding protein RBP) to many RNA targets in vivo, and reveals its function in some important biological processes. It is a revolutionary technology that reveals the interaction between RNA molecules and RBP at the whole genome level. It has also been applied to miRNA target identification, IncRNA biological function research and other work. CLIP-seq has a wide range of applications: (1) Draw genome-wide RNA and RBP interaction maps, and analyze the interaction of "Argonaute (Ago)-miRNA-mRNA". (2) Analyze the interaction network of non-coding RNA such as RBP and miRNA / IncRNA. (3) Compared with RIP-seq, it can identify the direct interaction between RBP and RNA, and determine the binding site of RBP with miRNA, IncRNA and other Beibian and PNA. Because of its universal application in the above aspects, it is also very necessary to assist related molecular research in the field of agricultural molecular breeding.
