Plant Gene Chip Service
INQUIRYIntroductions
Gene chip uses the principle of nucleic acid hybridization and is the main research tool of molecular biology. It has been widely used in plant breeding, mainly in species such as Arabidopsis, strawberry, rice, wheat, and corn. Relying on this technology can support the construction of plant genome library or cDNA library, the detection of gene expression level, the detection of new genes and gene polymorphism, the prediction of crop heterosis, the detection of seed purity and other aspects. The gene chip uses the principle of nucleic acid hybridization. First, a large number of nucleic acid probe molecules of known sequence are immobilized on the support. Then hybridize with the labeled sample to obtain a set of probe sequences (target nucleic acid sequences) with completely complementary sequences. Finally, the sequence and quantity of target molecules are analyzed by detecting the intensity and distribution of hybridization signals.
