Smartseq2 Single Cell Transcriptome Sequencing of Plant
INQUIRYIntroductions
Smart-seq2 single-cell transcriptome sequencing uses SMART amplification technology to perform reverse transcription and PCR amplification of mRNA in a single cell, combined with transposase library building technology, and finally uses high-throughput sequencing to analyze gene expression quantification, functional enrichment, and metabolic pathways of mRNA in single cells. It can solve the problem of very low sample volume or cell heterogeneity in traditional RNA quantification technology. It is a powerful tool for studying gene expression at the single-cell level and greatly expands the scope of RNA-Seq applications. This technology has been widely used in the field of agricultural molecular breeding, such as research on insect resistance, virus resistance, herbicide resistance, and stress resistance of plants, research on improving seed storage protein, research on fruit maturity, and research on cytoplasmic male Childbearing and self-incompatibility, etc.
