Introductions

Small RNA Sequencing

Small RNA refers to endogenous non-protein RNA with a length of 18-30 nt, which is widely present in higher and lower organisms, and regulates the transcription and post-transcription level of mRNA and other life processes. Small RNA can be classified into three categories: miRNA (microRNA), siRNA (small interfering RNA), piRNA (piwi-interacting RNA). Small RNA controls gene expression by silencing and degrading its target gene molecules, and it plays an important regulatory role in the normal growth and development of organisms and the occurrence of diseases. This technology is mainly used in gene post-transcriptional regulation research, gene silencing research, small RNA target analysis and regulatory network and so on.

Services

Lifeasible adopts next-generation sequencing technology to provide a new and unique research platform suitable for in-depth identification and quantitative analysis of small RNAs of various species. Through in-depth sequencing, small RNA maps at the whole genome level of any species can be discovered, identified, and quantified, which advances the study of small RNA functions.
